Via the Department of Homeland Security, the Trump White House just banned electronic devices bigger than a phone on specific flights originating from specific airports in eight (very specifically) Muslim-majority nations.

And to help passengers pass the time on those long, trans-continental flights without opening their laptops, they decided to come up with some ideas...that come in the form of trolling, directed right at the United States government.
Royal Jordanian suggests reading a book, or maybe passengers could "pretend tray table is a keyboard." Passengers could "enjoy a light snack" or "analyze the meaning of life." Maybe they could "say hello to the person next to you," or maybe just "engage in primitive dialogue from the pre-internet era."
Say what you will about the state of air travel in 2017, you can't begrudge airlines a lack of cheek.
