Fans shared a video of Mariah signing autographs in the middle of her show earlier this week, which is honestly a very weird thing to do, and likely messes with the entire flow of the whole thing. Anyway, Mariah appears to be sitting on a small stool or chair during the impromptu signing, but right before the clip ends, she stands, and there is NOTHING behind her for support.

Twitter user @1942bs retweeted the video on Friday, adding, "I’m convinced that Mariah Carey gets special powers during the holiday season. how is she sitting on an invisible chair?"

In a little more than a day, the tweet has racked up over 94,000 retweets and 209,000 likes.

Some stepped in to try to clear things up and explain Mariah's magical powers.

But mostly people were just impressed.

Others pointed out that her legs better have super powers, considering she insured them for millions of dollars.

Mariah isn't the only one caught up in a stool conspiracy. A meme was born in October when someone spotted Ariana Grande impossibly kneeling on a stool on her album cover for My Everything.

Something fishy is clearly going on here.
