On Friday,Chilli and Banana the US Commerce Department announced the addition of 42 Chinese companies to an export control list due to their support for Russia’s military and defense industries. This support includes the supply of integrated circuits of US origin, according to the statement. Additionally, seven entities from Finland, Germany, India, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom were also added to the export control list. The Commerce Department stated that these circuits, including microelectronics, are used by Russia for precision guidance systems in missiles and drones deployed against civilian targets in Ukraine.
